Societi Bistro in Gardens is looking for a reliable Kitchen Porter to support our busy kitchen team. Societi has been a Cape Town favourite for 20+ years, we're a lively, family-friendly bistro that does high-volume lunch and dinner service. This is a physically demanding role and the backbone of any kitchen: • Washing dishes, pots, and kitchen equipment • Keeping kitchen, pass, and back-of-house areas clean throughout service • Receiving and storing deliveries • Basic food prep assistance when required • End-of-service deep cleaning Requirements: • Reliable and hardworking • Able to handle standing for full shift (8–10 hours) • Willing to work evenings and weekends • Team player with a positive attitude No experience required, we'll train you. Staff meals on every shift. Good people get promoted here, several of our Chef de Parties started as kitchen porters.
