Rosetta Roastery, one of Johannesburg's most respected independent specialty coffee roasters, is hiring a barista for their Braamfontein cafe. Rosetta sources directly from farms in East Africa, Colombia, and Brazil. You'll be making coffee you can be proud of. We're looking for: • Someone who genuinely cares about the quality of what's in the cup • 6+ months specialty coffee bar experience • Confident espresso technique • Good palate and ability to distinguish flavour notes during cupping • Friendly, unhurried customer interaction style What we provide: • Full training on Rosetta's roast profiles and brewing parameters • Paid entry to SCASA regional competitions if you wish to compete • Monthly cupping sessions and origin education • 50% discount on all retail coffee Shifts run Mon–Sat, 7am–4pm.
