The Peech Hotel, a beloved boutique property in Melrose, is offering a commis chef position, an ideal first step for a recent culinary graduate. The Peech is known for its organic garden-to-table philosophy and relaxed fine-dining approach. You'll work alongside experienced chefs who are passionate about mentoring new talent. You will: • Assist in mise en place preparation across all sections • Learn station cooking under a Chef de Partie • Rotate through pastry, hot kitchen, and cold sections over 12 months • Participate in weekly skills training sessions Requirements: • Culinary qualification from an accredited institution (CCA, CAPSICUM, HTA, etc.) • Genuine passion for food and learning • Good knife skills and basic sauce knowledge • Willing to work early/late shifts and weekends Recent graduates are encouraged to apply, this is where careers begin.
