POD Boutique Hotel on Sea Point's beachfront promenade is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to be the first and last impression for our international and local guests. POD is a design-led boutique hotel with 16 individually styled rooms and a loyal following of design-conscious travellers. Our front desk is more personal and relationship-driven than a big hotel. Your role: • Check-in and check-out using Opera PMS • Handle guest requests, concierge queries, and local recommendations • Night audit on a rotating basis • Assist with reservations and rate queries • Manage phone, email, and OTA message responses Requirements: • Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience • Minimum 1 year front desk experience • Opera or similar PMS experience preferred • Excellent written and spoken English • Available for evening and night audit shifts
